A self-starter motivated by helping others, Chuck Kimple has turned a hobby into inspirational artwork.
Born in Meadville, PA, Chuck grew up the youngest of three siblings in Conneautville, PA. His mom, who started a local school lunch program, and his father, an engineer for the Lake Erie Bessimer Railroad, instilled the virtues of hard work from an early age.
After serving as a member of the United States Air Force in the late 1960s, Chuck finished his Bachelor’s degree in speech pathology at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Audiology from the State University of New York at Buffalo before opening his own private audiology practice in Erie, PA in 1979. His current office is located at 3211 Liberty Street in Erie.
During the 30 years he’s been helping improve the quality of life for his patients, he could always be found with a pen in his hand. Whether it was talking on the phone, listening to a sermon at church or waiting for dinner at a restaurant, anytime Chuck had a free moment he couldn’t help but doodle on whatever was available.
His work has evolved from doodles on restaurant napkins and church bulletins into vivid, eye-catching designs that showcase a motivational or inspirational word or phrase. His own inspiration came from his deeply-held Christian faith and belief in Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour.
His wish is for his artwork to motivate and inspire people around the world and to remember the real reason for every season.
